The prices for paintings vary based on their size, the medium used, the complexity of the painting and the degree of finish. The prices listed on this website do not include frames. They also do not include any cost associated with shipping a painting.

Commissioning a painting

This process begins with a meeting with the client to get a general understanding of the project. During this conversation you will discuss:

• What is the subject matter of the painting: a portrait, landscape or still life?
• Are there specific objects or scenes that you want the painting to be about?
• What are your size expectations?
• What are your cost expectations?
• Do you have any preferences regarding style or medium?

The next step in the process is for Ushani to develop a proposal. This includes a proposed timeline, a preliminary color sketch and a price. The proposal is presented to the client during a second meeting. 50 % of the payment is due at the signing of the contract.

The remaining 50% of the cost of the painting is due upon satisfactory delivery of the completed painting.
